I need to change the drive belt, but I have no idea how to do this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Is it the deck drive belt or the transmission belt? Same procedure really. Follow the belt from the engine pulley to the destination pulley. There should be another pulley that is spring loaded pushing against the belt. This is the tensioner. Pull this back to loosen the belt. Reverse order to put the new one on.

Troybilts are terrible they basically are generic torros but you might need to provide more info like how much power you trying to put to a riding mowers pto

from what i hear a troybilt might run a 4 ft brush hog or a 3 fort roto tiller

It's a pretty new mower, only been used twice. I just put a new battery on it because it wouldn't turn over so I thought the battery was dead. Anyway it's still doing the same thing now and I don't know what to do.

Mine won't start unless I'm sitting on it or if the emergency brake is applied. It also won't start if the pto (mower deck) mechanism is engaged. If you turn the key and nothing happens and you said you have a new battery, check the main fuse. Look in your manual...it should tell you where the fuses are. If the starter turns then make sure the spark plug wire is securely connected. How old is the gas? Some engines are really finicky and if the gas gets old (30 days can be too old), they won't start. I use Stabil gas treatment in my gas cans so that they'll last a lot longer (the label says up to 1 year).

If that is the model you are looking at, try this if you go look at it again. Put this model next to a model that has regular wheels next to it. Then push down on the handle, lifting the front wheels off the ground. Then do it to the other mower. I'll let that test speak for itself.

My recommendation would be a Toro Recycler. They come with a 2 year Guaranteed to Start warranty. and have a lot of the features in the mower you were looking at.

Has anybody tried the Troybilt TB426 21" Push Lawn Mower? I need some reviews on this push mower?

I have a Troybilt walk behind. It is great and I love it. I have had it many years. The only thing I have done is had it tuned up and replaced the front wheels. The treads were worn off. Great mower.
