i removed and open the gear box thinking the chain had broke,but everything looks good,but can not complete remove plate that screws on to gear box.i would like to clean it and put another gasket on it.i need your help.
An auto parts store can sell you a gasket that comes in a tube. Permatex, Liquid Gasket ETC. If you follow instructions on the tube you can form a gasket which will seal and protect your gearbox.

i just got a real good deal on a commercial snapper riding mower that needed some rear end work done on it. otherwise the engine and mower is in excellent shape. i need to get a repair/maintenace manual for the mower and the briggs&stratton ohv engine. i do not want one of the generic/ all mower manuals that clymer sells!! i want one that is specific for my mower!! any help????????????thanks!!!!!!
