How do you replace reed valves on a Lawnboy lawn mower?

Most lawn mowers are 4-Cycle and therefore do not have reed valves. A reed Valve is used in place of an OHV intake valve in a 2 cycle engine and it is usually located either in a bolted bore hole or just behind the carberator (behind meaning on the engine side) usually these also require some kind of gasket seal so you will either need to procure one or make one (please note that not all gasket maker is designed to be used with gasoline and oily fluids so either use cork or a proper RTV) There is a small valve similar to a reed valve called an impulse fuel pump and the inside of this component looks very much like a kind of reed and it is usually secured to the engine block with 2 or more small bolts and a gasket.

1969 Lawn-Boy lawn mower 8228E

Heres my weekly used mower its a #39;69 model 8228E, electric start self propelled. I decided it was time to make my first lawnboy video.

I just bought a lawnboy self propelled lawn mower with electric start. Can you help me figure out the fuse?

The directions says to plug a fuse into the battery. I cannot figure out what they are talking about. There is nothing in the box that looks like a fuse. Am I missing something? Do you now anything about a lawnboy self propelled lawn mower with electric start. Did someone at the store take the fuse out of the box? Where would it be? Am I just stupid cause I cannot find anything that looks like a fuse?

See if this helps - I just Googled Lawn Boy. The fuse is amber colored plastic. This shows where it goes.

I’ve always been a natural entrepreneur. I remember my very first enterprise--such a classic. A variation of the sidewalk lemonade stand, the sweet catch was…the stock wasn’t mine. It was the weekend of our annual family reunion. Remember those? It’s when you see relatives that you won’t even see at Christmas. You eat and drink to excess, and then promise that you will get together before the next wedding or funeral, knowing that you won’t. I started off selling iced tea and lemonade for 25 cents a cup. “Hey, it was all profit, no overhead.” Sales were strong, but if you aren’t expanding, you’re history. I decided to add beer to my inventory. It’s not a family reunion without beer. Business boomed. Until neighbor across the street called the cops, “Hey, how was I to know what a liquor license was?” I did add to my vocabulary, with juvenile delinquent and culpable deniability. I also learned one of the basic principles...
