Did President Obama choose John Deer lawn mowers over Toro, because JD is an Illinois Corp. / Big contributor?
videos showing heavy equipment companies and new john deere tractors

How many jobs will be lost as a result of President Obama's decision to close down so many American Corporations.
Hey homegirl:

It's a question not a statement. Look at the punctuation at the end of the sentence. That is called a question mark.
This was televized last night on President Obamas weekly Saturday Night address.

Its an Obamanation! He could care less its a pay to play and reward for failure plan, JD has been paying 0bama for years

My son left my John Deer lawn mower in the garage over the winter & now it wont start?

What is the possibilities. I just dread loading this thing up on a truck to take it to be fixed. Its about 10 yrs old. Should I just trash it? I bought it at a garage sell 2 yrs ago and it hasnt ran since the end of the 1st summer we bought it.

Try draining the oil and put in new oil. Change the plug and put in new gas. If it set this long the oil and gas is probably no good. Also clean the fuel filter and air filter, hope this helps you. There is nothing worse than a mower that wont start.

L130 John Deer Lawn Mower problem?

my dad has a L130 John Deer Riding Lawn Mower. it currently started to present problems when mowing. it does fine when going straight... but... when you turn to go up a hill, it is having problems pulling itself and even stops. the belt is brand new. any suggestions? it is also well kept and never been rained on.

sounds like it needs a new drive belt
new mower belt wouldn't affect drive

How do you put an L100 42in. cut belt on a John Deer lawn mower?

Please if you know, go into as much detail as possible. Thank you ;)

The mower deck belt goes around the motor shaft back to the blade(s) pulley(s) with the tension-er on the side, make sure it is in disengage so you have enough slake, there are guide pins that you need to slip the belt into. The tension pulley is usually on the bake side(spring loaded) of the belt. it has a guide pin also, so When engaging the handle it is spring loaded, and puts tension on all pulleys. sometimes they put a diagram of this under the hood. You could probably find one on the web somewhere.

  • STX38 Poor Cut - MyTractorForum.com - The Friendliest Tractor ...

So I finally changed the oil and put the deck back on my STX 38 the other day and cut with it for the first time this summer (been using a walk behind, been to occupied to get the deere ready for the season since I was working on a Seadoo). Anyway, I cut the yard and I must say that I am LESS than happy with the results. This year, I have done the following It starts and runs GREAT, but the cut is HORRIBLE. I live in a subdivision with a smaller yard (can do the back yard with the walk behind in about 30 minutes). When I was done using the Deere, I had a pile of clippings about 4 feet in diameter and 2 feet high! The lawn was not overly long and the deck was at the highest setting. No matter how many times I ran over the clippings, they never got smaller....I felt like I was driving around a leaf blower, not a lawn mower! No unusual sounds, belts don't seem to be slipping, can hear the usual roar of the blades when I engage them. Deck pulleys are all tight and greased. Any ideas?...
