Where can I get a full list of of industrial, agricultural, and lawn equipment?

I work for a company that is trying to find a comprehensive list of engine-based industrial/agricultural/lawn-garden equipment for their website (tractors, lawn mowers, bulldozers, etc...). Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a list like that?

Try the website "www.ironsearch.com" I go to this web site when looking for equipment for my farming operation. It has lawn and garden equipment to Heavy construction equipment. I hope you try it out. It help my farming operation a lot.

Is there a way to add dynamic keywords to Overture?

In adSense and Adwords there is an option to pull dynamic keywords. By this I mean they will pull the keyword for the ad you are running and place it in your title.

For example if I was running multiple Google ads for Lawn mowers my title might look something like this. Industrial Size Lawn Mowers. From Google it would be called like this {KeyWord: Lawn Movers} .

Like I said the other 2 allow you to do this, but I'm not sure if Overture does. I suppose this may change in a month when the new Overture comes out, but I have a couple hundred ads I need to get up right away. Anybody know about this?

No, as you've probably realised by now YSM is a terrible system and anything that might make your life easier is a big *no* straight off the bat.

I wouldn't bank on the new YSM having anything like that either, since even in AdWords it's technically an unnofficial feature and I don't believe MSN introduced it with AdCenter.

We can but hope though...

Is a lawn service a good company to start?

me and one of my friends are thinking about starting a lawn service company we are both 20
we can get 2 free industrial mowers already have a truck and a trailer

who does this and how much is average weekly income
i live in michigan soo we have winters to deal with but can do snow also

If you have access to free mowers, that's a huge expense already taken care of. A couple thing to consider are:
1.) Competition - There are guys out there who will be more aggressive and out bid you, and have been doing this longer.
2.) Insurance - Most commercial accounts will require you to be bonded and insured.
3.) Off season - Like you said, snow removal is a good idea, but you better be ready to go as early as 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning to clear businessses.

If you want to do this, then don't go into it without thinking it through. Go to your local chamber of commerce and ask for referrals and and any help with grants and such for starting a small business. A customer of mine got a small busines grant to start a mowing service. So there is help out there, so good luck!

Are all new Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower motors worthless now?

I bought a new Bolens riding lawn mower with a 15.5 hp Briggs & Stratton motor with a 2 year warrenty on it. Well just two weeks after my 2 year warrenty was up I started my mower and blew a 3 inch hole through the motor. I am an aircraft mechanic and tuned up and changed the oil in it every year. I heard that Briggs & Stratton are now made in China and from my experience I believe it now.

I was lucky and found a 1992 Montgomery Ward Industrial,Commercial 7 speed 42 inch riding mower with a 12.5 hp Briggs & Stratton I/C Quite Industrial Commercial moter for $150.
What I want to know is why is my current 17 year old lawn mower still going strong and new ones today only seem to last for two years.

Like I said I am an aircraft mechanic.. My boat is a 1989 Maxum Cuddy with a Force 125 that still runs like new, My car is a 1971 Plymouth Satellite that was still running on it's original spark plugs and starter when I got it. I guess the days of being made in the U.S.A. meaning anything are over.

I have been looking for my next riding lawn mower to come with anything but a Briggs & Stratton motor. I am sure though that my 17 year old B&S has a few more years left in it. Heck I think that I should just rebuild my current riding mower and motor since it seems that anything new today is built only to last through it's warrenty and nothing else.

Find out where B$S head office is. Take photos of your damaged engine in detail.. Write a description and history to them and ask them if their current engines are doing this and why did this one malfunction when in a normal operation mode and did not run out of oil for some reason.. Perhaps an oil leak occurred and the engine unexpectedly ran out of oil.. You are an aircraft mechanic and can understand that something serious went wrong to inflict such damage.. Manufacturers usually appreciate feed back and you never know.. You might get a bonus.

  • Heave-Ho Yoisho: The Industrial Lawn Complex

Imagine all the water you would save, chemicals you would avoid putting into the ground, and most importantly, free time you would have back if you didn’t have to worry about keeping your lawn perfectly green and manicured. Let’s face it, Americans' if nothing else have made the lawn industry quite profitable. Don't get me wrong, I love a green lawn, and the smell of freshly cut grass is hard to beat. But, we can’t overlook the fact that Americans' have over 20 million acres of private lawns to care for. Between energy, water, chemical, and manpower use, we have manufactured the industrial lawn. In the age of the green revolution, this industry surely deserves some scrutiny and its practices should be examined for sustainability. Japan, on the other hand, finds little use for the lawn mower. Granted, we live in the city here, but most of the places we have traveled in Japan have similar landscape. For the most part, Japan chooses to live and build with nature and...
