The key for my honda riding lawn mower broke off. How can I get it out?

I tried a needle nose pliers but don't want to ruin anything. Should I take the ignition switch out and try that way?


Take the ignition out, turn it around, and stick a straightened paper clip through the hole in the other end. This will force the broken key out.

Or, unless you are afraid someone will steal it, just leave it as is, and use the key nub or screwdriver to start it. Most everyone I know, leaves the key in the ignition anyway.

honda h1011sa riding lawn mower?

i'm looking to purchase this honda riding mower...i'm looking for reviews from people out there...........is it acomfortable machine........does it run well......what is the cutting swath (inches)


I used to use one of these machines when I worked for the late Lord Lichfield,(Patrick Lichfield). I can't remember the actual model number, but the one I used was Ferrari red and had a cut of 36 inches. I used it for a number of years, without any problems, in fact it was a joy to use. We used to get a firm from Stafford out every Spring to service it. Highly recommended

check e-bay but i'm sure they'll be hard to find because you can't find that many companies that still make 38inchers. you might be able to put a craftsman or yard works deck on it. go to home depot or lowes even sears and check out what they offer first.

What riding lawn mowers will you give you the most return for your money?

Here are a few I was looking at: Toro, Sears Craftman, Lawn Boy, John Deere, Honda, this German Brand I saw at Lowe's (couldn't remember the name), and other inputs from you may be helpful. Thank you.
