removing a blade holder on a honda lawn mower?

I recently picked up a Honda Harmony II lawnmower for free because the blade holder was bent preventing the blade form mounting properly, causing a lot of noise and vibration. Does anyone know what involved in removing and replacing a blade holder?


It should come off with the blade. Take the two bolts out and the holder should come off. A couple of raps with a hammer will persuade it.

I am looking to buy a lawn mower. Would like to hear any experience about honda harmony II or Poulan pro brands.


A goat. Fertilizes, clips, and you never have to get out of the LazyBoy. Check your local city ordinances first, though.

    • Honda Harmony Handle help please

    Hi, I have a Honda Harmony HRB217TDA lawn mower that has been nothing but problems. My latest problem, is that the handle broke at the pull string connection. I purchased a new handle. It was delivered today. I have the schematic of it's parts, but cannot see how to put it back together. The parts place wants 35.00 + S&H for the "Shop Manual". I only need the instructions for assembling the handle. I've been trying, but I'm not getting there. Can someone please give me step by step instructions on putting it back together and/or a picture that shows it's assembly? Thanks so very much. Bev
