I got her a replica of a christmas painting last year... not sure what to get her this year.
She's done alot for me, I think I'd like to buy her something more expensive. She does some sewing, she likes garden things... but hasn't been able to do that much, anymore.
She's also from england, I guess she likes historic english things. Anyone have an idea of what to get an 89 year old english woman?
Expensive as in... $25-$100 range.
Hi: Well, the queen really hasn't done much for me... I'm talking about my grandmother.
Funny thought, though. They are about the same age. I'm pretty sure I would buy the queen another floppy hat... as she seems to like those.
I would say a set of teacups and a pot that matches it.
Old ladies love that kind of stuff.
Trust me.
Great song by the band Like Pioneers who just recently released their first record. You can buy it here: likepioneers.bandcamp.com and find out ...
this is only 1st chapter and bit of 2nd chapter im going to aim for 80 to 90 chapters to finish novel
The way you have written your question causes me to doubt that you are at uni; however that doesn't mean that you haven't written several novels.
So, that aside, I think your writing has some heft to it, but that it is compromised by your lack of technical skill. You have some good ideas for plot and character, but you haven't yet learned how to develop them (you are simply STATING, instead of DEVELOPING).
That said, I hope you will not give up. Just realize that good writing takes more than story ideas and the discipline to write it out (although those are very important -- and you are ahead of many people when it comes to that). You now have to study the craft. Work on your grammar, syntax, character development, and plotting techniques.
You not only have to write a good novel, you want to get it published. Editors will only read so far into a text. If you don't know the basics of good writing (including all the rules for grammar, punctuation, etc.), they just stop reading.
very nice, it esablishes a clear theme, then explains it. one question: is it supposed to be that short?
i think its cool that you're being creative and writing a story bout boxing, thats tight
but honestly i didnt read the whole thing because its very hard to read without punctuation marks.
also you have some very basic spelling errors such as you wrote "lives" instead of "life's".
if you're gonna turn it in its important to pay attention to small details like that.
anyway its a good start, but i think if you want people's feedback i would suggest posting smaller amounts and including punctuation :)
11 acres pasture & trees with a canyon located on atop a hill. Have horses, planning to build a riding arena. It is our home where we are starting a garden & tree nursery.
We will be selling variety of fruit & evergreen trees, shrubs, perrenials, flowers & flower baskets. We plan to have our landscaping reminicent of an old English Cottage garden and will have fun things to do for kids like "find the golden gnome" and "how many ladybugs in the garden" pumpkin patches for Halloween & pony rides w/pictures, coffee & gift shop...Anyhow we want to make it an enchanting experience so people will come & enjoy our shopping area etc. Our names suck and are too boring, I do need a whimsical
name but one people will take serious.
Some names I thought of so far that arent taken:
Fairie Meadow Farms
Tallulah Gardens
Sleepy Ridge Farms
Medusa's Garden
The Funny Farm
"Enchanted" "Harmony" "Mystical" others are too deluted here. Do you prefer those or any other names you can think o
needs to be easy to remember, say and easy to advertise. We dont want it to sound like a cemetary garden like "Eternal Gardens" or something ;o)
Cool names so far!
