I went to the local KMart today and saw most of the gardening tools marked down 50%. That normally doesn't happen until Labor Day weekend, when garden and outdoor supplies are marked down. I got more planters, more hummingbird feeders and a few seeds for next spring.

So...go check out your local KMart and see if you can grab a few bargains.

We are having a Vegetable garden this year. We live near Midland, MI. It will be a 1,000 Sq. feet garden but we do not have a whole lot of money. How can I get free Soil, mulch, Compost, manurer, tools, seeds, plants and anything like that?

First ask co-workers who own homes, homeowners always have stuff they want to get rid of. Also in the local papers at the beginning of the want ads they list the free stuff and you can also list what you're looking for. Don't forget the hardware store has all that stuff also and if you know anyone there they can help you, sometimes the bags of the stuff you need break in transit or even at the store, tell them not to throw it away and save it for you. Plants you can get from the nursery again some get messed up in transit and they get rid of them. Last let the neighborhood know what you're in need of. And last you can ask at your church. good luck.........Tell me how you make out.

I'm quitting smoking, and I want somewhere I can focus my energy when the urge to smoke arises. I feel like gardening would be perfect! However, I have absolutely no gardening tools, and not a whole lot of know-how. I need to know what tools I absolutely must have to get started, and whatever else I may need.

I live on the central coast of Cali, if that makes a difference in what sort of plants to get. The soil doesn't seem too good, but I'm pretty sure I could make it work. Also has weeds and we have a gopher problem around here, as well as lots of bugs. Not allowed to kill the gophers. Advice on good starter plants is also very welcome.

Okay so I got the Sims 3 yesterday and started building an awsome mansion but for some straaaaaange reason whenever I click auto roof or even try make it myself the roof does NOT show up not even in map view. I've tried everything. Is the same thing happening to anyone else?

Also,
Where can i find gardening supplies? Seeds, gardening tools etc.

I tried both, in auto roof it doesn't show up at all.
I tried to build a roof manually it doesn't show up either.
I have no idea how to do it?

The roofs don't work. Not at all. I sent half an hour trying to make it work, i quit and came on Y!A to complain, Also the speeding of time up doesn't work.

EA has some explaining to do.
