River Garden Studio: may the sun shine upon you

This is my current work. Many of these paintings are sold, and some are still available to purchase. They are painted with acrylic, and layered with hand-made papers and different mediums such as glazes, gels and sand. If you are interested you may contact me through my email. With every piece of art I create I learn something new and I like to challenge myself. My mother was my first art teacher. With her I was constantly surrounded by art and beauty. I have had many wonderful moments as a teacher. Wether I am outside teaching nature journaling over the Klamath River Canyon or at Spencer Creek with an adult class of other teachers, or inside a classroom filled with adults or children studying birds and feathers I am always inspired. The last few years I have also been teaching clay classes, and we made had-pressed bowls for the empty bowl project with Henley Middle School. I also teach a class called Art and Rhythm where we study dance and drumming from other cultures.
