I was in one of their stores 3 weeks ago and the couch, loveseat, and chair were still on the floor, but now they are saying that they're sold out of everything in the plum color. My family was going to get me the chair for my birthday. I called a couple of different Value City Furniture locations, but no one has it. Does anyone know where I might be able to find any of the items (preferably the chair & ottoman)? I loved that collection & would be so happy if I could find part or all of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ask them the name of the manufacter of the melrose collection. Then contact the manfacter and ask him if he has any of the collection left in stock, or what other stores did he sell that collection.

Either these are the worst dancers in the world or Value City is selling something other than furniture...

I'm looking to buy some new furniture. I went on Value City Furniture's website and loved a lot of their collections! My husband and I are looking for a great living room collection [sleeper-sofa, loveseat, and chair] for a decent price. Unfortunately, Value City Furniture is only located be in the North East. We live in the Gulf of Mexico near New Orleans.

We are looking for quality furniture at a reasonable price. Something just doesn't seem right when you have to spend 2,000+ on these items--per piece. Do you know of any great furniture stores in a reasonable price range? Where do you purchase your furniture?

Yeah, I found a site with much better and cheaper alternative to value city furniture... they have such a nice selection of all kinds of furniture, too.

I'm moving and am looking for good quality furniture at a discounted price. In the Midwest they have Value City Furniture stores, but there is no chain in California. What furniture store is the Los Angeles equivalent of Value City Furniture?

its a Swedish chain of home furnishings and misc stores selling inexpensive designer furnishings at a low price and 25 year warranty (most items). Using self-serve/self-service concept in stores to reduce employees to cut costs as well as innovated and green methods of manufacturing to cut costs more so to sell furnishings so inexpensively.

My fiance and i tossed our sleeper sofa a few weeks ago so we're currently looking for a new sofa.

We don't have a lot of money to put into a couch .. we don't have any kids.

I wanted to try Value City but my fiance says "no, junk" lol .. but he's never owned anything from there.

Have you or anyone you know purchased furniture from there?

Why?

As do many furniture stores, Value City has different levels of furniture quality. Their top end furniture is good furniture, but it costs more. I guess the rule of thumb is "you get what you pay for." I would buy there, but beware of what you buy at what price.
