i need help to find cheap patio cushions preferably under 150 for all four. i'm looking for a blue tan green mix that looks beachy.

Try Wal-Mart or Big lots. You can shop online. Hope this helps.

I have an outdoor patio set that I'm moving indoors and need to replace the seat pads on six chairs. The seat foam costs as much as buying replacement cushions from WalMart, not to mention fabric costs. Any ideas on cheaper products?

Just recover the ones you have. I got the material from Wal-Mart and did 4 cushions cheaper then the replacement cost of one and it is really easy.

Get the new spray on plastic paint from Krylon or Rustoleum at Wal Mart. It is made espcially for painting plastic.
Bright red would certainly be pretty with red and white striped cushions.

I have patio chairs that are used heavily....is there anyway to bring life back into them? The nice poofy look is gone and with the summer around the corner we want the cushions to be comfortable again. I need to find a cheap way to give them a face lift! Please serious replies only...too many people on this board are trolls and like to leave ass-nine comments for some unknown reason.

Depends if they are feather or foam - or a mix of the two.

If they are foam, go to a shop selling drapery fabrics - they usually sell foam cushions, and get a few replacement cushions. They come in different densities (springyness) , so don't be put off by what they look like - try them out.
It's quite common to combine types - putting a soft 1" on top of a 2" heavyweight foam.

If they are feather cushions - first try washing them. They need a long drying period - but are fine to machine wash and warm tumble dry.

If this doesn't work - buy another feather pillow, and use the feathers to top-up your sagging cushions. Sometimes you have to do this with age.

Try using tie-died throws over furniture that gets heavy use. That way - you can just wash the throws more often, and it stops the furniture suffering from spills and wear. They're great to brighten things up.

The area is long and narrow, 8 feet by 23 feet. The long front is screened; the two end walls are beige stucco, like house. Ceiling is white. I'm getting a ceiling fan. I have green indoor-outdoor carpet, a bit worn, but okay.
There's a white plastic chaise lounge with green striped cushion and a white plastic table with four chairs. I have place mats and silk tulips on the table. There's one small white plastic table.

I don't love the white plastic patio furniture, but it's all I can afford right now. I want to accessorize and add some wall decor to the stucco, if possible. But what?

I don't have a green thumb, and I live in Florida. I will add some plants and flowers, but need suggestions.

It's hot and humid here. Fabrics fade and mildew. During certain seasons, yellow pollen lies thick as powder over everything. So I have to be practical.

It doesn't have to look like Martha Stewart dropped by, but I do need practical, inexpensive suggestions. Ideas, please!!

Pick a color and stick to it for flowers and other accessories. Add candles in varying heights to the tables. Hang pictures if you like or baskets with plants. You can buy a couple of the 'basket weave' metal trash cans for around $3.00 each. line them with peat moss and add a tall green plant. Put one on either side of the door.

Add a small throw pillow to the chaise lounge.
You can paint the chairs and tables for just a few bucks if you want a change. (dark forest green?)

Add a cheap rug (sisal), a bowl of fruit (oranges - as orange would be a great accent color for your area), a couple of flowering plants (orange inpatients?) , a table cloth in a tropical print of green, orange, yellow, white, and you have a whole new look.

Shop thrift stores and yard sales.
