Im looking for outside furniture <chairs, table, etc> Ive looked EVERYWHERE...but they're all....sucky, expensive,....<in other words> not what im looking for -.-

so please help me. =(

a really nice idea is to find a cheap outdoor setting that suits ur NEEDS (like has enough chairs etc) then work on the look, you can change the look of something by like, applying paint, rubbing it back and adding a laquer, maybe adding cusions and pillow tops, reappolstering the chairs, having a nice tablecloth or runners over it, the decorate it, it wont look shabby, u need to focus on price and functionality first then do it up how u like it

how can i get my dog to stop pissing on my outside furniture?

we just redid my backyard and we started to add furniture and my dog ( a boxer) keeps pissing on it . how can i get him to stop ?? is there a spray or something i can add to the spots ? what can i do???

SImply dno't allow your dog to do it.

Your dog really shouldn't be outside without supervision, so pay closer attention.

If you have a doggie door that your dog can use when you are home, then expen or baby gate off the outside furniture so that the dog can't get to it.

I have a rattan love seat that has cloth cushions. Obviously the cushions and the fabric that supports the cushions shouldnt get wet. However, I was wondering if I keep this outside and I cover it when we arent using it if it will be ok. I know nothing about stuff like this. This is the first time I have been able to keep something like this outside. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I just dont want to ruin the furniture.
I live in Pennsylvania. We have pretty humid summers. But what if I keep the cushions inside and only put them outside when we sit there? Might that be ok?

Not sure where you live, but even if you keep it covered, airborn mildew and mold can still grow on your furniture if you live in a damop area. Anything outside in Oregon at my brothers gets mildew on it even when covered. The best place for your furniture is in a temperature controled sun room or enclosed patio that is protected from the natural changes in temperature that include dampness and humidity.

Hi, I need to re-upholster some outside chairs. They currently have this leather material on them thats all ripped up, What kind of material is best for outside furniture? (rain/sun/snow)
Oh and preferably cheap, Thanks!

Outdoor fabric. But no fabric will last a long time exposed to the elements. Use a little common sense and take the cushions in in the winter, or at least throw a cover over them,. Don't forget the UV rays of the sun destroy just about everything over time, as does remaining damp for long periods of time.

I have wood pool furniture. Some has rust red stain on it and some rust paint. Water based is easier to clean up but was wondering if oil based paint or stain is Superior to water based for outside uses.

Yes, oil-based is recommended for outside use. I would stay away from "Water-Protection" products that sit on the wood surface and make the rainwater bead up on it. This is wax-based and isn't good for the wood. If you go with a stain, get a good PENETRATING stain. That's the best for the wood. They come Clear, or in Colors. If you paint, use an oil-based product.
