Can anyone tell me where I may find inexpensive foam? I need to have 10 cushions made and I am finding that it is VERY expensive!

i know what you mean. I had to buy foam back in early spring to do an ottoman. The girl at the fabric store (Joanns) told me it had to do with the rising price of petroleum, which foam is apparently made from. I would check online if I were you. I believe I paid $80 for a 2ft by 3ft piece at the fabric store.

People keep stealing our furniture outside. What is the best way of making something that people can't steal? We don't have a lot of money.

I was thinking of making a cement table. Bags of cement are like $7. Make staked frames out of wood and perhaps chain the chairs down. Will this work? Any better ideas? Where's some nice looking moderately priced outdoor furniture? I looked at Targets stuff and it's total CRAP plastic junk for like HUNDREDS of dollars!

You can buy concrete round tables and benches. I see them at outdoor places all the time. Find a local concrete dealer who makes those and birdbaths, etc. They may be available at Home Depot, etc. Or look in the yellow pages.

I've been looking at all sorts of home stores at all-weather patio furniture. I have found styles I like, but when I sit on them they just aren't comfortable. Or the style is awful, but seats like a nice indoor leather sofa. Anyone have outdoor furniture that just makes you saw "ahhhh" when you sit down? I use my patio after work to relax and would like an "ahhhh" style couch/love seat and a couple of chairs.

Those sets of plastic wicker with cushions made of weather resistant material are pretty good if you find one of good quality but the most comfortable outdoor seating I have found are those round multi position loungers. You can sleep on them. Can be found at most patio furniture stores, at least in my area. Hope you are as fortunate.

I need to get decent outdoor furniture for my lawn. I am looking for a square or rectangular table that will seat 8 people, and can be placed on a lawn, not a patio, and not sink into the ground.

I live in norther/central NJ. I would rather try to purchanse this furniture at a store instead of ordering onlne.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look?

any furniture is going to sink into the ground. I would buy teak if I had the opportunity.

I want something that does not attract dust. The one I have is not raw iron, but iron coated...which attracts dust and I have to wipe the seats down everytime I have to sit.

Any flat surface will attract dust. It is in the air and settles wherever it can. Wrought iron does not stop this process. Even rain contains dirt.
