i am in the niagara region of ontario canada.....what would be good for my outdoor gardens that will come up every year........flowers and plants tht aren't too much money...........thank you very much for your help!! i am new to gardening so anything that yo would share with me would be a great help!! thank you!!
Everyone's getting thumbs down, so I'm hesitant to answer this! An annual will only live through the season, where perennials will continue to grow year after year. I am currently on my second year of some flowers in my yard. The little label on the flowers will let you know whether or not it's an annual or perennial. As for suggesting the type of flower for you, I can't answer that due to being in different areas. You're in Ontario and I'm in Florida. An employee at a garden store will be able to help you with this.

BlackPepper, Cayenne Pepper, Mothballs they all should work.
I must say you don't have nice neighbors if they let their dog
urinate. Have you talked to them and made them aware of it.

I'd like to start plants, this year, indoors for planting in the garden. We live in the Southern Illinois area. I'd like to try tomatoes and peppers. Thanks!
You should read the package on how long it takes to germinate and be ready for planting. I would say Illinois is about the same for Boston in that the earliest date is around the middle of May. You can then count backwards to see when it's time to start the seeds for the plants you want. You could try giving them some bottom heat and sit back and watch them grow.

I'm attending a wedding at kew gardens this weekend ... what can I wear and not wear? I have a dress with a bit of white on it-- is that acceptable? What about a red satin trench coat, is that too loud? Am i required to wear a hat? This is my first English wedding so I just want to make sure I'm dressed appropriately. thanks.
First off, the main issue is that you are not trying to out-do the bride. You can wear anything you want, as long you are not all in white. Red might be a bit off-setting, it sounds as though you might be drawing attention to yourself. A hat would be nice, not required, of course. If I were you, I would choose a lovely long white wool coat that you could pull off as you enter the church, and have it sit in your lap. Have a dress that matches your hat, and cry a bit as the nuptials are completed.
Try these sites, I think you will find lots of interesting information.

Need Outdoor LST advice - The Garden#39;s Cure
I also gave him some 10 gallon containers so there is ample room to grow and since he could still get full sun we decided he should place them near the center of his garden so if anyone just "happens" to come down his drive and just "happens" to look in that direction they would never be able to see the lower lying LST past the tomato and pepper plants. He will also be half sinking the 10 gal container to keep them as close to ground as possible That's the spirit.... bring on the monsters and again....I would tie twine to the center of the main stem and tie it directly out sideways to support it, then bend the plant past 90 degrees and stake that to the ground.....don't forget...
Parks in Minnesota: The Best Gardens in the North Star State
Minnesota is widely known around the state for its dedication to parks and gardens for the public. Many of these facilities are free to the public and feature a wide variety of trails, activities and restaurants that make use of the state's natural resources. A unique facet of the parks and gardens system throughout the state are the focus on providing an outlet to nature even in urban settings. Some of the most elaborate of Minnesota's parks and gardens are found within the confines of city limits. Visitors can experience waterfalls, historic sites, sculpture, unique flowers and plant life and even endangered animal exhibits.
Minnehaha ParkAn urban retreat for residents and visitors to Minneapolis, Minnehaha Park offers a 193-acre park located in the middle of the city. With approximately 850,000 visitors per year, the park is one of the most popular outdoor attractions in the metropolitan area. Situated along the limestone bluffs of a tributary of the Mississippi River, Minnehaha is most recognized for a 53-foot waterfall that leads into the waterway. Paths around the area allow people to enjoy natural wild flowers and plant life such as oak and maple trees, very similar to how the site appeared for generations.
