Yes you can and ask for Sunbrella outdoor fabric. It won't fade, it won't mold or mildew and it has a long warranty. Tell the upholsterer that you want to use the couch outdoors so that he will treat the wood frame to be weather resistant and remake the cushions to do the same.

It is a dark brown (modern?) couch. I moved into a horrible paneled living room and hate it. I can not touch the dark paneling at all (per landlord). There is also dark wood trim around all windows and the frame to the dining room. I am looking to find a matching curtain and rug. Some thing that will liven up this cottage feel. I love the moroccon look or asian indian. Any color ideas for the rug and windows? Any cheap decorating ideas. I love nature rocks, odd pieces of wood, etc.... I am also looking for info on how to put a little flat of grass in a box and how to bring in an outdoor fern. Any info on that would be good. Thank you...

I have two cats, the second one was about six weeks old when we got it and the other cat was about 18months old. We had had the kitten for about a month-6 weeks and it starting pooping on the carpet, previous to that it was either going outside or using the littler box. Both the cats are indoor/outdoor cats.
We have now gotten separate litter boxes and have tried to put the poop in the kittens littler box and we actaully removed the carpet yesterday only to find that the cat peed on the couch. ewwwwww.
The kitten is about three months old and is very very cute and I don't want to get rid of it but I can't keep him if he continues with this.,.....Please anyone with advise HELP

The first thing you need to do is to clean the urine up with an enzyme cleaner. Nature's Miracle for cats is a good product. If they have gone repeatedly you will probably have to treat more than once. You should be able to find it in just about any pet store. Regular household cleaners will not get the smell out!

The kitten will continue to go in the same spot unless you get rid of the smell.

You also might try using different litter. For whatever reason the kitten may not like what you are currently using.

What you also might want to do is try to confine the kitten to a small room like a laundry room for a day or two with some food and water and the litterbox. Don't let the older cat in. This may help the kitten feel more comfortable using the litterbox. This will also keep the kitten away from the spots he's been peeing on and will give you a chance to clean it up without them resoiling it.

I've been looking at all sorts of home stores at all-weather patio furniture. I have found styles I like, but when I sit on them they just aren't comfortable. Or the style is awful, but seats like a nice indoor leather sofa. Anyone have outdoor furniture that just makes you saw "ahhhh" when you sit down? I use my patio after work to relax and would like an "ahhhh" style couch/love seat and a couple of chairs.

Those sets of plastic wicker with cushions made of weather resistant material are pretty good if you find one of good quality but the most comfortable outdoor seating I have found are those round multi position loungers. You can sleep on them. Can be found at most patio furniture stores, at least in my area. Hope you are as fortunate.

Any more, movies are just bleeaaaaachth! I guess we've watched way too many over the years. Or maybe the quality is fading - or both. Be that as it may -

How do we go from being couch potatoes to fun-loving outdoorsy types? What do you do for fun, and please specify whether you live near the mountains, beach, lake, resort area (etc)

i live in the mountains close to a trout stream i do alot of hiking and playing in the creek and fishing
