Both Rustoleum and Krylon are good but both will flake right off if you don't do something to knock the rust off. If you don't have access to a professional bead blaster or sand blaster (and most of us don't), take a stiff wire brush to the metal, followed by acetone to clean it up before you spray it.

I am looking for an attractive, sturdy easy to clean & look after table & chairs for my garden. (possibly one thats seats 6 people) However, do not want to spend a fortune, can anyone recommended where i should go for this, i.e Argos, Robert Dyas etc I have never brought garden furniture before, so need to know whats good & whats not! Thanks
Plastic doesn't wear too well. My favourite garden furniture is the wooden type. It lasts for years if you apply some wood oil to it once a year & it looks lovely. It can be expensive, but I got my set from my nearest IKEA store (www.ikea.co.uk) & it was cheaper than some plastic sets I've seen in garden centres etc!

you can't !! believe me you only get what you pay for and quality doesn't come cheap if you can wait hang on till the end of the summer you may pick something up from the superstores when they are restocking for winter
I was going to paint over some garden furnitures and I was wondering what paint should I use. They are metal material so if I were to use a paint for metal whats a good to use so it won't rust as much over the years. Is there something I can use to spray over it to protect it after I finish painting it?
You should use spray paint. Rustoleum is my favorite, and I use it to spray everything from wood to metal and have never been disappointed. Best tip I can give you is for prepping, first. Sand any really rough or rusty surfaces. Wash it all down well with a solution of warm water, mild dish soap and bleach. Use a scrub brush to really clean the surfaces well. Rinse it well. Leave it out to let it dry in the sun & that should give you a perfectly clean, grease and grime free painting surface! ...Use a Rustoleum primer, first. Follow the drying time instructions, then spray your color - a high gloss is best - and a couple of light coats is good. Follow that up with a clear top coat if you want, and that will really seal in the paint!
FYI: there's also something on the market that's called "Rust Neutralizer" that also comes in a spray can. I picked it up at a Home Depot. I followed the directions, sprayed it on after I cleaned the surfaces, let it dry, then painted, all about 5 years ago, and rust hasn't come through a bit!
P.S. If you haven't spray painted before or if you're starting a new can, something I always do before I start is practice/get the paint flowing on a box/piece of cardboard to get the feel for it.
