ok so like i said, this is my first time going to Warped. Ive been to shows before (most recent Hollywood AP Tour) so i'm not worried on what to expect from crowds.but I have a few questions.
1. Are we allowed to bring in food and water? do we have to hide it?

2. Im too young to drive, so my mom is going with me (and is still not too fond of concerts since she saw some girl get pummeled at AP Tour)
Are there going to be places where she cant sit in shade and chill out?
(this way she doesn't bring an embarrassing lawn chair, umbrella etc. or something that i don't think is allowed anyways)

3. Anything else NOT allowed?

and any more advice would be appreciated!...I am going with a few friends too

1). Yes you can bring in one sealed bottle of water. If its unsealed then they will make you dump it out and refill it with hose water they have.
You can bring in small snack and sandwich.

2). They have a reverse daycare for parents. Its an air condition tent with free drinks and a big screen tv for parents to chill out.

I've been a really crappy girlfriend lately (in my opinion). I feel awful about this. I don't know why I do so many stupid things in this relationship! They just happen out of nowhere.

And he does EVERYTHING right for me! He cares so much.

For example, just the other night I felt sick at his house, and I really wanted fresh air, but it was raining outside and it was really dark and late out.
Still, He made chicken noodle soup, got lawn chairs, a giant umbrella, and some other things. Then he SAT with me out in the cold rain while I was about to puke.

And he does things like this all the time for me.

I'm also very self-conscious and he encourages me and tells me I'm pretty a lot. It's so sweet. I don't even know why I'm self-conscious. I'm not being conceited, but I'm NOT ugly. I'm actually fairly luck with looks, but I'm Italian which means: Hairy and flat chested.

And I really don't want to be self-conscious. I can tell it bothers him when I down myself, and obviously it bothers me too.

The other day we had this conversation:

Him: You know, I figured something out.
Me: What?
Him: Well, It'd be very mean of me to tell you.
*I pressured him to tell me*
*He thought of how to word it*
Him: I do things for you like sit out in the cold rain with you and make you soup, and then you're self-conscious about it when i touch your leg simply because it's a little spiky. And you say you're only self-conscious about it because you love me.
*I don't blame him for feeling that way at all.*
Me: I'm sorry. :( I want to make it up to you. I don't know why I'm so self-conscious. I just am, and I dont know what to do about it. I care about what you think a lot. Maybe that's why I'm worried about every flaw I have when I'm around you even though I know it doesn't matter to you..
Him: That is the only thing you need to change about yourself. Your self-consciousness.
Me: You do everything for me. I'll try.


And then today I did countless stupid, uncaring things I didn't even realize I was doing at the time.

And I can't believe myself. I love him. He's the best I've ever had and I bet I'll never find someone as great as him again. So I don't want to lose him over my stupid mistakes. It seems like everything I do lately is a mistake I wish I could take back. He means so much to me and I'm so happy with him in every way. He's never done anything wrong.

So what I'm asking you is, what are some things I could do to make it up to him and show him I do care and that I'm not the callous girlfriend I've been acting like lately? Anything from small cute ideas, to big grand scheme plans are greatly appreciated, as anything for him will come from the heart.

I want nothing else but to fix this problem of mine.
Stop being self-conscious and self-concerned.
And start being HIM-conscious and HIM-concerned.

Hi, you don't mention how it is you are a crappy girlfriend. Just sounds like you have been a little off that is all.

It is the small things that show people you care.

If he is really interested in something - you don't have to pretend you are a mad fan as well - just asking questions about something he is into will show him you care.

Don't suddenly make grand gestures - as that is fake - and not you (as this is what you have not been doing).

Put together some of his fave music/books/tv shows whatever - and next time he is down or bored etc give them to him.


At least he knows that you are self concious and that is why you behave this way towards him.


But don't be with someone cos they are the best you had - be with someone you love them and because you can't imagine being with anyone else.

This guy cares about you - that's a good thing - shows that you can work things out together.

I don't really know how you can become less self concious as all that comes from within and takes time.
I have always thought that if you really care about a guy you can't help but be HIM concious. But unfortunately it takes rude awakenings to realise what you have when you are on the verge of it going.

That is not where you are now - you can still do things for this guy - make his fave food - buy him his fave shower gel - lots of small gestures will show him you care.

And most of all reassure that you love him - and make it about him - not your insecurities
