I am wanting to buy something for my Mom and Mother-in-law's Birthday. (both have same b-day) Anyway, they both live in Florida near Clearwater. I know that the decor is different down there than it is here in Chicago. So I need some ideas and/or online shop to order it from.

I would check with a Home Depot or Lowes down here.. and it depends which way the patio faces... North side doesnt get all the direct sun.... East facing gets morning sun but not during heat of the day.... South and West patios need really hearty plants that can take Sun and Heat beacuse tey get it most of the day in summer.

Parents live in FL. I'd like to order something for their garden. I know that the decor is alot different than here in Chicago. Can you give me a website/store that is in Florida?

you didn't say what part of florida they are in, so i'm not going to recommend a plant. and you didn't say how much you are willing to spend, so this is really a shot in the dark, but on overstock.com they have these garden trellis' that you attach the garden hose to and the top spins watering the plants. it also has a wind chime and a stabilizer. really attractive and practical for about $100.

I found what I think is some sort of patio/garden decor piece at Goodwill and am trying to figure out what it is. Most of it is green, it's about 2.5 feet tall. At the bottom there is a thing that comes out that looks like it's meant to hold 3 large candles. A little more than half way up there is a ceramic circle that has fruit painted on it. At the top there are 8 spirals, 4 making a sort of "platform" and 4 more above those that are hanging off the sides that look like you could maybe hang something from them. The bottom part is supposed to hold wine bottles. So this piece would be placed between two relaxing chairs for a glass of wine. Not a practical piece by my viewpoint. Not enough room for a cheese platter.

What have you found that is cute or goes good in your garden lately? I'm just curious about ideas, from various benches, patio sets, garden globe balls, stones, statues,etc.

There is a home near me that has very nice informal gardens along their drive way - lots of patches of flowers. They have things scattered along the way that are painted solid white. One is an old iron bed headstead, another is an old fashion bicycle with a basket. There is something else but I can't remember what it is at the moment.

It is not over done - I don't know if you can picture it but it is really cute and makes you think of days gone by.

Also, When my dad wears out his leather work boots, his wife puts little flowering plants in them and tucks them among big landscaping plants around their decks. Its cute.

You'd most likely be dealing w/ customer complaints and/or questions. Taking calls, answering questions, troubleshooting assembly issues possibly. Just my thoughts.
