How to stop kids walking along my garden wall and knocking down plants?I need a quick fix&needs 2 be LEGAL!!!?

There is a 4ft wall that runs along the back of all the gardens in my street. There is also a fence that starts where the wall stops but it's a few inches away from the wall so it makes the wall perfect for walking right along the back of all the rear gardens. I have a few window boxes along my part of the wall with climbing plants to go up the fence (to give us a bit of privacy from the two blocks of flats behind it) but for the past few nights a couple of boys (around 10-11) have been getting in through someone elses garden up the street and walking right along the wall through all the gardens and take great pleasure in knocking my pots down along the way.
I have tried to make the garden lovely for my family-especially the kids to enjoy and also have a summer house and a couple of sheds with expensive garden equipment and the kids bikes, a big slide and swings etc. I'm worried the little brats will do more than just knock my plants over-although this alone is driving me nuts! thanks
barbed wire, glass and vandal paint etc. are all illegal. you can get done for them damaging themselves or their clothes while trespassing on Your property! Ridiculous but true!

Buy red ants and put them right around where they play! lol

Who actually owns a garden tiller which a company tells the repairman to dispose of?

The Mantis Co. told me to bring my garden tiller to any local repairman to have fixed under warranty. The local repairman called Mantis and explained what needed repairing. The Mantis Co. told him to dispose of the tiller and they sent me a new one.

The repairman said he never got paid for any of the work he started on the garden tiller and the common practice is to keep the equipment. Is this right, or should I offer to pay him and have the tiller returned to me so I have another for spare parts? This was 11 months ago.

I kept getting the run-around when I inquired about the serviceman getting payed for his efforts.

Service man owns it. Make him a offer for it if you want it.

What type of gauge will measure "exit" water Pressure?

I supervise a shop where we have a piece of equipment that uses water to test aircraft parts to ensure structural integrity. However, I cannot find a way to keep the water pressure the same at each nozzle (there are 4 nozzles) Is there a gauge or tool that will measure the "exit" water pressure out of a nozzle? It would be like measuring the "exit" water pressure out of your garden hose.

Technically, the pressure of water once it leaves the nozzle will be exactly 1 atmosphere. When water leaves the nozzle, it turns the entire energy stored as water pressure in the nozzle into kinetic energy.

Unlike water, which is incompressible, gases are compressible and will maintain some pressure briefly coming out of the nozzle, e.g. not all the pressure is turned into kinetic energy, so having a gauge outside a gas nozzle would be useful to measure the exit pressure.

What you really want is a gauge just _inside_ the nozzle, which will measure the pressure in your compressor minus the pressure drop related to the water flow rate in the nozzle. I assume this would be easy for you to do.

More elegantly, if you are sure your nozzles are identical, it would be easier to just rig a FLOW meter to each one. As long as the flow rates are identical, each nozzle output should behave identically.

Did anyone ever remember making things when you could not afford to buy things? What things and equipment did?

you make? Because we put old cars in the back yard when we no longer used them, we had a wealth of parts, nuts and bolts for the taking. We needed a good tractor for the garden and as a utility vehicle. We hacksawed the chassis of an old 31 Ford, replaced the car transmission with a truck transmission that had a "granny gear" and then drilled holes to install a worm drive model ' T ' rear. We hauled garbage to the dump 6 miles away by pulling a trailer, but pulled a lot of good thrown away things out of the hole at the dump and carted it back to the house. We were into recycling before it became popular to do so.

Yes, as a Parallel project we cut down a body and left the windshield intact. Then mounted a wooden spoked truck rear and found out we needed to use two universal joints, as one alone created too much unbalanced vibration. Later on we had bands of iron made to for the rear tires, and fashioned cleats across the with of the wheel bands. This gave us better traction in dirt and in snow.
